You can tell the anxiety is running high when it’s Luke Nathan’s senior day and not a single person has asked whether he’s going to start!

We’ve spent the past few years speculating about his playing time, and now no one has any comment? Loosen up! Do we need to get a Peter Kiss thread going?

May need grief counselors after tonight. Please step back from the ledge.
Invested, rabid Rutgers fanatics will definitely feel grief if we lose tonight.
I certainly will, can you recommend a good counselor for me so I don’t have to go it alone?
FYI....I like being on the ledge, that’s how I’ve been rooting for my favorite handful of teams for 50 years

What does our loosening up or anxiety have to do with the game?

this season, once fun, has now become terrifying.
Given the downward trend our play took this season, I would describe it more as frustrating. RU went from being ranked AP #11 and being in early national conversation for a deep March run; to now just trying to secure a tourney bid. While I'm inclined to think our recent struggles are closer to our true mean than the stellar play back in December, something certainly seems inexplicably off with this team.

This really should be the Luck Nathan Appreciation Thread.

In years past, Pike has not started all seniors on Senior Night. They do get in, but limited and are varying times.

Some of the games have been pretty frustrating for sure. But not really anxiety provoking, except maybe during the actual game, for me at least. As a fan, my frustration with any game more or less starts and ends with the game itself.

I sleep better when we win.
I also have an easier time staying on my diet when we play well, I go right for the Chips Ahoy’s when I’m frustrated, once that happens the box is gone.

I will avoid the game thread like grim death. We go down 8-2 with 38 minutes left and 90% of the board is throwing a clot.

I backed off after the OSU ref screw. They sucked me back in with the winning streak, but now the distancing resumes. If a team can’t shoot, I’m only going to trust it so far.

Eating is a problem for me. Always has been. I eat when I'm happy, sad, stressed, calm, doesn't matter. There is always a great excuse for me to eat way too much.

My idea of portion control could choke a donkey. 😳

I always pictured guys that love coke and hookers to be skinny because they’re all hyped up on Mountain Dew. 😳

Too many people eating too much damn chicken.

You are what you eat and a nervous bird makes for a nervous man.

Haha, yep, exactly.

About a month back, for dinner one night, I actually heated up one of those frozen Mrs. Smith's Apple Pies, then quartered it, then ate all four quarters, along with an entire half gallon of Turkey Hill coffee ice cream. With Hershey's dark chocolate syrup drizzled over it all. I didn't remember to get whipped cream, or that would've been added in too.

Ate it all while binge watching something on Netflix or Amazon or whatever. Yum.

What's that, like 25,000 calories of fat and sugar? Probably took me less than 3 hours to polish it all off.

Binge eat? Me?

Never.

They let the screw job from OSU game ruin tge whole season
I think it was a combination of things, that mostly occurred coincidentally with the OSU game. Players getting injured, players coming off injury, competition levels heating up, and probably some stuff none of us knows about behind the scenes.

The good news is that, as a program, if we can keep playing at the level we're at, the program will get better at dealing with periodic high rankings and the occasional bad game. And we'll hopefully become more consistent.

Right now, we just need to get over this shooting slump. Easier said than done. But doing that makes us competitive with almost anybody except maybe the top 5 teams.

All the exercise from the hookers combined with the metabolic increase from the blow cause constant weight loss.

I can actually eat a ton without gaining weight, as long as I'm sticking to a very low carb diet and exercising, which is what I normally do. Adding in carbs alters the math and can cause some weight gain, Eating whole apple pies with half gallons of ice cream alters the math a lot. LOL

My periods of binge eating have grown infrequent. I just can't pack it away like I used to do. It was way worse when I was younger, but then I had a lot more exercise back then, too.

The good news is that, when I get tired of binge eating and get back to healthy eating, I almost instantly lose 5 pounds, just in food weight alone.

This conversation is making me hungry. I sense a single-serving sized (aka family-size) bag of potato chips that wants to get in my belly in the very near future. LOL

I have been pissing out of my a$$ all afternoon.
Then again I had tacos for lunch.
You a South Park fan by any chance? Got any tampons handy?

Crap, the media link didn't work. Search for "South Park Death By Tampon episode".

One of the funniest South Park episodes ever.
