It really is ridiculous that they have all the bans for basketball and as many people as they have controlling traffic the lot management is horrific considering what we pay to be in there.Even though I live on NW side this group shows up in my FB feed on occasion. Got a kick out of it.

i agree with this wholeheartedly. I would attribute this to the reduction in street parking in the areas around W-R and NRF. Fewer cars parked on Ashland and Lincoln make it much easier to get out of the area...What I've noticed and appreciated is how much more quickly, in relative terms, the parking lot and streets empty out of a game now. I have yet to be turned away from the lot, and when that does happen I will be righteously indignant given my pre-paid season parking pass should guarantee me a spot, and getting into the games thru the traffic is as bad as it ever was. But leaving is a lot better imho.
Fewer people at some of the games, Also there is only the one lot so others have to find farther away places to parkWhat I've noticed and appreciated is how much more quickly, in relative terms, the parking lot and streets empty out of a game now. So it’s a good thing that Wilmette expanded their parking bans? For me it's about not having the throngs of people rushing to their cars parked along Isabella, 5th, 6th, Broadway, etc. and then all trying to pull out into Isabella/Ashland/Central and jamming the intersections with impatience and self-importance.
I agree that fewer people have been going to the games and that contributes. But this has been true for me since they ended street parking.
Me too. My street is chaos with cars. For what we pay we should be able to use the streets.I pay property taxes in Wilmette and pay for car registrations in Wilmette but I can’t park my car on Wilmette streets? Yet any one of those residents near the stadium can come park in front of my house any time they want? Makes sense.
