Considering 5-day (including driving) post-Christmas getaway with family (3 kids, 10-15). Within 8 hours drive-time from WV. Ideas and suggestions?

The Cleve for some WVU basketball. Who doesn't love the mistake by the lake in late December? You can stay in your room and watch it snow. Spend an hour getting dressed before going anywhere and another hour getting comfortable once you get where you're going. Truly magical.

Cleveland legit sucks. Ohio in its entirety sucks. The people who live in Ohio suck. And Ohio drivers are a danger to other motorists.

I dont know how much fun it would be. Probably depends on how much your family likes a water park but there are Great Wolf Resorts in Charlotte and Cincy. Indoor water park with a lot to do for all ages. Ive never been to one but my nieces and nephews are your kids ages and they love them.

Sandusky is probably closer to him. They have the Kalihari and Great Wolf lodge up there as well.
