So about 7 weeks ago I had a SLAP tear repaired. I was doing fine for about 3 weeks and had a week of therapy under my belt. After the second week of therapy I had pretty severe pain. My surgeon said the PT was out of bounds for that early so they toned it down. About 2 weeks later I was doing an exercise and felt a painful pop in my shoulder in therapy and it immediately swelled up and has hurt pretty badly ever since. My surgeon is basically stating there's not much to do but wait and they can't do an MRI on it so close to surgery. Meanwhile I still can't go back to work and have more pain than I did before surgery.

A. Does anybody with medical expertise have any opinion on this?
B. I'm thinking I may need a second opinion. Anybody have good results with somebody in the OKC/North OKC area?

That would be great. Do you think he would talk to me by phone or email?

James Bond in Okc/Norman is great. Did my torn bicep and had done shoulders for numerous friends.

Along these same lines, I had a rotator injury a year ago and decided against surgery. It's only been about two months since I have been mostly pain free but still have vey uncomfortable pain on occasion. Anyone have experience on when this will completely resolve?
