NU football existed before the 70s. Sam Francis, Guy Chamberlin and Pat Fischer would have to be includedOffense- Rozier, Rodgers, Crouch, Frazier (Was tempted to replace Crouch with Phillips…)
Defense- Suh, Wistrom, Glover, not sure about the fourth- J Peter, Alberts, Farley
Whatcha got?
True, but that's why were here. It could be that some may prefer the modern era.NU football existed before the 70s. Sam Francis, Guy Chamberlin and Pat Fischer would have to be included

Woulda, shoulda, coulda... Rozier was the best RB Nebraska ever had. Bar none. I would put Roger Craig over Phillips as well.Rozier: I'd choose Phillips over Rozier, but the whole mental illness thing prevented him from reaching his potential. Rozier won the Heisman.
I picked Rozier. I was just saying that Phillips was the better of the two.Woulda, shoulda, coulda... Rozier was the best RB Nebraska ever had. Bar none. I would put Roger Craig over Phillips as well.
I think I might agree exactly with your list. Gill signs with Oklahoma…who is to say what happens to the program in the 80s and 90s. Remember Mark Mauer and Craig Sundberg were pre-Gill and post-Gill. Turner made Neb a popular destination for athletic option QBs.rodgers, gill, rozier, frazier.
wistrom, suh, glover, m. brown.
you might opt for crouch and im fine with that, but turner gill was the sea change, in my mind.
there are soo many, how can you only take 4 on each?!
eric crouch, bob brown, dave rimington, irving fryar…mick tingelhoff?
terrell farley, lavonte david, pat fischer, willie harper, etc.
****, i hate these lists…
Zaven yaralian another great nameRodgers, Rimington, Frazier, Suh.
For a flashier all name team, I.M. Hipp, Thunder Collins, Wonder Monds, and Ndamukong Suh.
As is Skeeter Malito, even if Skeeter wasn't his given nameZaven yaralian another great name
Wasn’t his name chuck? Dam that’s bringing back memoriesAs is Skeeter Malito, even if Skeeter wasn't his given name
Bobby was about the only bright spot on some bad teams. Just think how good he would have been if he had 80&90 caliber talent with himwhat about bobby reynolds.
Hard to argue with those 4Rodgers, Rimington, Frazier, Suh.

You could consider Rozier, but these 4 are considered possibly the very best at their positions all time (Rodgers as a returner). Rozier isn't quite in that conversation.Hard to argue with those 4
