Both of those teams will finish third and fourth in the conference. It was difficult to judge who the better team was by last night's performances. Nebraska had the athelticism and Iowa's center sat the bench for seventeen minutes of the first half with foul trouble. When she returned she was very difficult to stop from scoring. Meanwhile, Iowa's three point threats were held in check while Nebraska's Theriot couldn't hit a thing. In my opinion, Iowa's point guard and Disterhoff made the difference, the latter making some excellent plays down the stretch and in overtime.
I think we can take Nebraska, and beat Iowa if we have healthy players. We are more than capable of beating maryland who may have hit their peak. It is teams like Michigan and Ohio State that concern me.
Again, last night's game was a good one for the spectator. I love the Big ten Network!!
