Iowa came from 10 down to take a lead only to have Nebraska come back. Iowa freshman at the line to win the game makes 1-2.

Not sure who we want to win this. If Nebraska loses they fall into a tie with us and 4 other teams for 3rd place in the league.

Iowa pulls away in overtime. Nebraska goes to 5-3 to join us and 4 other teams in a 5 way tie for 3rd place in the B1G. We get Nebraska at home next week.

Finishing 3rd overall would give us a double bye and perhaps give us another shot at Iowa. We played them the first time without Briyona Canty.

Good, exciting game. Nebraska ran out of steam and their star scorer was off.

On the freshman hitting a foul shot to send the game into overtime: The ref called a phantom foul, as I did not see any contact on the previous play, it was a clean block.

These are two good, experienced teams. The BIG is a strong league. We now need to assert ourselves and play Rutgers basketball the rest of the way.

MC1974, I agree with you that we have to assert. Maryland has done so, and I expect CV to make sure her girls bring it.

I am amazed at Dixon. Against us she hit anything and everything, I think she had 600 pts, last night she had 8. If she got 8 against us we would have won easily.

Both of those teams will finish third and fourth in the conference. It was difficult to judge who the better team was by last night's performances. Nebraska had the athelticism and Iowa's center sat the bench for seventeen minutes of the first half with foul trouble. When she returned she was very difficult to stop from scoring. Meanwhile, Iowa's three point threats were held in check while Nebraska's Theriot couldn't hit a thing. In my opinion, Iowa's point guard and Disterhoff made the difference, the latter making some excellent plays down the stretch and in overtime.

I think we can take Nebraska, and beat Iowa if we have healthy players. We are more than capable of beating maryland who may have hit their peak. It is teams like Michigan and Ohio State that concern me.

Again, last night's game was a good one for the spectator. I love the Big ten Network!!
