Hope it is true. I heard as of Saturday night he was an RU lean. This morning I was told he got a big satchel of money from a midwestern school and the money was going to his prep school coach. Hope this is not true.

See my comments in the round tabke about his game . Really like this kid a lot . Glad we getting him now…I was afraid of his recruitment blowing up in the spring if he didn’t pick us aopb

Rivals uodate the player rankings in a couple of weeks, expect a major bump when he gets reevaluated , not the 250 ish he is rated in other services ….

Things are getting interesting. We're gonna have to make room for Ndongo. Plus we made need another scholly, if Cliff leaves - for a impact big man transfer. Looks like we might see a few guys from our bench in the portal

Ummmm that’s a wrinkle.
This morning is before 72s post though so not sure how to read this.

Let’s come back to this one tomorrow - seems like a great fit here, but is he good enough to get a satchel of money?

I don't know anything about this kid, how does this affect Bailey and some of the other big kids the following year?

If Cliff leaves, we won't need another big man with Wolf, Ndongo, and Dean... unless Dean leaves

If Cliff stays, the possibility of Dean leaving goes up with Wolf and Ndongo both being higher upside, younger competition

I know RU may never NIL-outbid the blue bloods for certain players, but can't NIL be used to get around the scholarship situation. Scholarship limits are not a thing for the bluebloods in football. If you go over the limit, the player walks on and gets a $40K NIL deal.

That being said I'd be stunned if the scholarship situation does not work itself out.

Someone is handing out satchels of money and for some reason some guy named GL113 who's posted here 5 times since October knows about it and is telling us publicly?

Seems.. unlikely imo
Agreed. Forget about the NCAA, the IRS would frown upon that.

Cliff ain’t goin nowhere at this rate, face it
you have to think NBA scouts would tell him he needs one more year minimum..... you watch a game like yesterday, and can see that he is not consistently a factor

you see a guy like Edey, who does have the height advantage, but he almost always gets his numbers by games end....

and Edey might not make the league either

Colorado has 2 -5 stars coming in next year. One is Diop who is a friend of Ndongo. Colorado throws money around like an SEC team. They are sleazy.

Oh, I would not be shocked if all of a sudden it is Colorado as the choice.....and would immediately assume it was the money

We were supposedly in very good shape with the big man from Africa, we sent one of our coaches out there, and all seemed good, right up to the day of announcement

and we lost him at the end to a team that I wasn't even aware was a finalist......

this stuff happens now.
