I definitely wonder if they should get the nod over some 0-1 teams. (not targeting Murphy btw)

North Rowan needs to be on this list IMHO

Personally I think no one should overlook Murphy. They have the pieces and they just need to come together. Size and depth on the line both sides of the ball. From what I’ve seen Qb is on target but receivers are going to have to help him. Plenty of decent RB’s. Of course coming from me I respect everyone who plays on any given Friday night. Never overlook any team just how I was taught

The only other 0-1 teams, not including Murphy, are Robbinsville and ER…
Not knocking NM, I pulled for them all last year, but not so sure playing neighbors up Highway 22 would be a good result for them.

Be a good gate though no matter which way activity busses ran

What I meant was I wasn’t trying to single anyone out, looks like I did inadvertently lol. Sorry homie!

Regardless, what do y’all got coming back? Do Y’all feel like last years result wasn’t indicative of your true talent?

Not as close to players since baby boy graduated five years back. However offensively ER returns quite a few including QB. Defensively is where they lost several starters as first game score reflected. I did hear today that turnovers played a huge part in first half of EA game leading to short fields.

Last year?

I’m an old guy. They got whooped in last game. Doesn’t mean they didn’t have some good wins during year. Just means like every team in playoffs except one, they lost last game.

I had a buddy who transferred to y’all back when I played; he started for y’all so I always have had a sweet spot for ER since.
