For amusement I follow Lunardi's picks for the Tourney throughout the season.
I realize that he is not even close to the best when comparing his picks to those on Bracket Matrix.
With that said he has some teams in the mix this year that I question big time.
Maryland as an 8 seed?
Rutgers as a 9 seed?
Mich State has had some nice wins but is 8-10 and Looney put them in for beating Indiana 12-13 and 7-11 ?
Xavier in at 6-6 in the Big Least?
Seton Hall 10-7 and 13-10 also from the Big East? Looney has essentially had them in all year.?
UCONN 9-6 and 12-6 isn't any better than last year? Two more losses than SMU.
North Carolina will get in but isn't good. Played Marquette a week ago who is next to last place in the Big Least and lost by 13. Just lost at Syracuse.
SMU and Memphis are not getting much love. Memphis is now 11-3 and 15-6 not shabby.
Wichita State is hanging on by a thread only because they are in first place for now. They need games desperately.
I think the American Conference will get two in when its all said and done maybe three if Memphis, Wichita and SMU all finish strong.
Tulsa is toast lol.
