His father shopped him around and an Auburn fan paid him the $380,000 he wanted and Auburn get their quarterback. The NCAA didn't push the issue because there wasn't any proof that Cam knew what was going on so was innocent. WHAT? A Mississippi St. asst. coach said Cam was on the phone with his dad when Mr. Newton told him the cost to get his son to play for them. Miss. St. wasn't going to fork out the money.That asst. coach publically said that Cam was also on the phone and knew everything going on.    $380,000 is a ridiculous  of money.</p></blockquote><p></p>
