Jeff Van Gundy and St. Mark the Asshat Jackson must be suicidal. Their poor, downtrodden Lakers didn’t get a call all night long.

Pretty much just seen a few scores but seems interesting this year. Rooting for Denver and a good series in the East.

Rooting for Denver. Mainly because I have a ticket to game 4 of the NBA finals if LA makes it and I'd rather get the 1300 credited back to my account

I've yet to hear of a fanbase that says "oh yeah, the refs love us and we always get the calls"...but nearly every fanbase, NU included, thinks the refs have some sort of vendetta or conspiracy against their team. I always think, if the refs are against someone, doesn't that mean the same refs are 'for' somebody? Who knows? Just human nature I guess...

bad as the NBA refs are/can be, it's not even 1/1,000th the bullsh*t we're subjected to in college hoops

playoffs are physical & by and large the stripes let the men play

I thought the refs were fine tonight. I’ve just never heard two dimwits on a national broadcast cry so loudly and so repeatedly about their favs not getting calls. It was embarrassing.

Go Nuggets - this year’s playoffs for me is “anyone but Lebron”

Few things are more enjoyable than a cold beer in a frosted glass and watching LeFlop get ***** slapped. Last nite's game had it all. LeBitch flops, misses a dunk, chokes on a couple easy lay ups, and over the top flops. Hahaha. Suck it LeBitch.

Which “NBA sideline analyst” admitted she hadn’t actually seen or watched Jokic play during his back to back MVP seasons and admitted he is pretty good? ABC/ESPN at its best.

Good to see the Nuggets get it done

Mark Jackson left Jokic completely off his MVP ballot this year. Couldn’t crack St. Mark’s top five.

Then tonight he says 'he's an all-time great'. Like bro, where were you the last 7 months? Nuggets look great, overcame a tough whistle tonight and still got the W. I'll be surprised if they don't win it all, they just look like a class above everyone.

Add in the horrific takes of Perkins as a commentator and ESPN has shown its decision making skills on intellectual talent for the game.

Gambling is exactly why I hope the celts somehow come back to win the East

They’ll bring the Nuggets line down significantly

Heat +3.5 tonight in south beach - zero respect

LeBron has been involved in 9 out of the past 12 NBA finals. Assuming the Nuggets reach the finals, does it signal a passing of the torch from LeBron to Jokic as the preeminent player in the NBA?

Jokic vs. Jimmy Buckets would be kind of low key interesting. I've found that YouTube highlights keep me interested in the NBA even when I don't want to watch the whole game (usually the case).

Embid better than Jokic?

Lol by what metric?
They both are great players. I said they matter. To say the torch is passed to Jokic is premature. Embed should have won MVP in previous years but didn't.

Jokic isnt even the driving force on his own team.

It's too early to say who is the clear cut best.

How you impact winning is the only.metric that matters to me

You keep focusing on Embed whatabout Yannis hell Curry is still in the league.

You have to win something first to be considered the best player in the league.

Jokic has the better team right now. Thanks to Jamaal Murray's return he has a chance to get a ring.

Simply responding to your idiotic opinion in which you named Embid

Still waiting for proof as to why

He is the MVP this year so many thought he was better than Jokic.

Maybe your opinion was idiotic

And that's a punk move to remove players from your arguments to.make one.

Especially when my initial argument was to name a group of players that could be in that spot as well. Yet you single out one. Who is the reigning MVP.

You are the fckn idiot.

Lol...yes your argument was dumb. I would bow out too by being an *******.

Is that why you called my opinion idiotic because you felt so right and lashed out with an insult first?

You cant be better so there is no reason to wish you that.

Curry and LeBron have been involved in 11 out of the past 12 NBA finals. Rephrasing of the question...have Jokic/Nuggets now cemented themselves along with LeBron/Lakers and Curry/Warriors as a player/team combo that the NBA finals will run through?

If they win it have to see how they handle the following year.

Young teams usually dont win championships.

It's good to see a smaller market franchise excelling. Jokic is a great player and they could be champs for a while.
