From Encyclopedia Britanica:

National Socialism, German Nationalsozialismus, also called Nazism or Naziism, totalitarian movement led by Adolf Hitler as head of the Nazi Party in Germany. In its intense nationalism, mass appeal, and dictatorial rule, National Socialism shared many elements with Italian fascism. However, Nazism was far more extreme both in its ideas and in its practice. In almost every respect it was an anti-intellectual and atheoretical movement, emphasizing the will of the charismatic dictator as the sole source of inspiration of a people and a nation, as well as a vision of annihilation of all enemies of the Aryan Volk as the one and only goal of Nazi policy.

Trump does appear to be an example of the cult of personality.

Most people today conveniently forget that many in the Nazi hierarchy took the Socialism in National Socialism quite seriously. Hitler was very apolitical in this regard, but Goebbels, the Strasser brothers, Rohm, and many of the party's founders were hard core socialists.

Dont underestimate the word totalitarian in the definition. Trump, clinton or even obama don't fit that in any way.

Ok finally got some time to respond to the theory. It wouldn't surprise me some don't know what exactly 'national socialism' is because it has been dead for 70 years. In a nutshell, it is a frenzied, race fueled political ideology that intertwines nationalist and socialist elements. It also relies upon heavy media manipulation and a angry, mesmerizing demagogue to rally supporters.

Trump is gun hoe on big military, America first, immigration. These are right leaning positions, with the bell cow being Trump's far right immigration policy that has fanned the flames a bit.

Now, to the left end of the spectrum, Trump is also for a healthcare system, saving the middle class, and beating back those 'greedy' wall street people who dodge taxes. Also, this is where those articles that compare Bernie to Trump come into play.

Trump promises the world for America and his followers eat it up. It's been only 3 months into his campaign and look at all the topics it has covered. Think of all the other things he will hit on in the next 12+? Pay attention to the speech styles. Showing up late to fawning audiences? Short, vague statements? Trump literally said 5-10 minutes of new material (hey he mentioned a infrastructure upheaval.. America will have the best roads) and the other 2 hours of the syndicated rally was babble and bashing of rivals, yet people roared and cheered all the way through it. He has them hooked like fishes.

Thickones over.

Trump is a narcissistic braggart. He is also my candidate until some other Republican rises above him. I agree with him regarding the economy and it is definitely time to take our country back from those who want to give it away. The US has to be restored to THE world power, or we are all going to find ourselves up to our collective asses in anarchy. I can only hope that we have not been under weak leadership too long to recover as The world leading country.
