I can’t believe that if Cohen was shunned by Napier, that we would ever hear about it, given how tight lipped this search has been.
It’s likely a narrative to make Cohen seem like a cunning negotiator.

Especially given that right before that on facebook Rosey was saying emphatically that Napier was still a viable candidate. Either got some late updated info or someone told him to steer folks off of Napier for the time being. Hard to know what to believe right now on Napier until the bowl game is over.

I’m not saying that Napier is still in play because I have no clue.

But Cohen was always interviewing Judge on Sunday per Steve or Paul from last Thursday or Friday. Your post made it sound like he flew to Boston only because Napier cancelled a meeting, which is not true - he was always going up there on Sunday.

Hoping for this. It's possible. Just waiting for Steve to say, "there's a time to be coy and this was it."

I used the word "coy" bc Steve was using that to describe Joe's situation and then finally he said night before we fired Joe, "okay not being coy anymore, I believe we change HC very soon."
