Nader in Brooksville per wtva

One of my favorite stops in danger. Gotta pre order a caramel pie before driving by each time.

FYI, not making fun of their situation at all. Lost a home to a Nader a few years back.

Yep. I was there sending reports to WTVA. I think my livestream video may have captured it. I have what looks like a funnel and a couple of power flashes. When we got to the damage area there were trees and power poles snapped and a semi flipped in the highway.

Glad you made it through safely.

We were in the storm shelter at home when our house was hit previously. Got to see my house go up as it was being built and see it 'go up as it was literally blown away. Those things are powerful and not to be taken lightly.

I can only imagine that would leave a lasting imprint in your memory. I've been inside three tornadoes while chasing, but thankfully, my house has never been hit. Seeing the damage they can do and do so quickly gives you a deep appreciation for the power even "weak" tornadoes yield.

We didn't need therapy, but won't be forgetting it.

Took about 6 months after that to talk the wife into watching Into The Storm. The first 30 minutes or so did make both of us get a little queasy in the stomach. After that, the movie got a lot more 'Hollywood-ized' and more BS so not as real feeling. But that first 30 minutes was rough.
