Things are very bleak right now and we're rightfully very negative but we should try to find some enjoyment in watching Myles' last few games.

My heart absolutely breaks for this kid that he couldn't even play in one damn NIT in a college career.

I don't think we can thank him enough for his contributions and hid loyalty. I can't wait to go to the Maryland game and give him a standing ovation.

A true warrior. A real favorite for me. The mishandling of the Mike Rice scandal really ruined a potentially great career here

Hate to see Myles go out with his team on a downward slide like this, he's been loyal from the get-go and a great ambassador for RU. Will definitely be there to cheer him on one last time vs. Maryland.

Agree 100%, Shill. It is brutal on him, and I see it every game. He tries so hard, and is a Rutgers all-timer. He has skills, and some things went wrong here to make his stay at RU a function of bad timing. I'm a huge Myles fan and always will be. And I will be cheering like crazy at the Maryland game for him. I'll also be cheering for Malik and Kadeem. They are forever Scarlet Knights.

The team would probably have some more wins if he playing off the ball, running around the baseline or picks and hitting 3's. He was able to do that his first 2 years when the team had a full roster and some depth.

Because opponents know he is the only shooter and he is playing point... they deny him shots. Tough break for him. But he is a warrior and was loyal to the program when so many left.

Absolutely, I think his spirit is broken. Saw him crying on the bench in the second half, poor poor kid. He doesn't deserve what is happening to this team, and Shill is right, what a damn shame the kid will not play in one post season game. A true warrior who would have been even better if he only had some help around him. Just feel terrible for him. He probably lost 8 games total in high school and now 11 straight and counting it is just tearing him up.

Do you think the NJ Playaz will seriously consider sending a player to RU after Mack? A lot of it's because Mike Rice brought in no one after 2011, but hard to sell a bright future to someone at the local level. It will take a superhuman effort from whoever it is.

If you hire a coach that is connected with Playaz they absolutely will. Will they send a player to this staff? No way

Shill. I love Mack, but almost wish you had not started this thread. It will give some idiot the opportunity to say something negative a him. Rutgers should place a statue of Mack outside the RAC.

Myles Mack is one of my top 5 RU players ever. He is a 100% Scarlet Knight, loyal to the bone, ultimate warrior, a kid so easy to root for on a team that is hard to root for. He went through a rough time with the Rice scandal and toughed it. This kid desevers nothing short of a 5 minute standing ovation on Senior Night.

Huge Mack fan. I feel terrible that he is on this team almost. But his time will come and he'll still be able to make a living after Rutgers playing basketball.

"I came here to try to win and it just didn't happen," Mack said. "Statistically it has (been good), but winning and team-wise, it hasn't been good for me."

"I don't really show my emotions much, but it's coming to that day, coming to an end where I'm not going to be able to play this game on this floor anymore," he said. "I've played my heart out since my freshman year here. It's a lot on me, a lot that I've got to think about."

Just feel bad for the kid. He deserved better.

This. It would be so huge if somehow, some way, we could get one hot shooting game out of this team and find a way to beat Maryland to give #4 a win in his last RAC game. It would completely suck to end a really nice career on a two-month losing streak.

Kudos to Mack and his commitment. Btw, this is basketball. With a shooter, a point and a post player things can change from one year to the next. NJ has had plenty of those blue chip players to turn RU around but has not been able to get. Does RU have to play the same games these schools are playing (i.e. hire parents for jobs, pay to play, hire aau coaches) in order to get top flight NJ kids? Us RU fans go back and forth about coaching but at the end of the day it's about talent. The Coach Ks and Pitinos of the world would not be who they are without the talent.

I can't think of anybody since the GW era that I would root for as hard as Mack. And watching since the Foster teams, he ranks in my top 10.

Mack will always rank as one of my favorite Scarlet Knights regardless of sport.Sadly, he is just another Rutgers basketball player that lacked the joy in participating in post season play even at the NIT level.

I've been a huge fan of Myles since watching him in the JSBL the summer before his freshman year. He's given us 4 years of blood, sweat & dynamic plays. I wish he had the luxury of a better supporting cast. On a team with more offensive threats, he really would have shined. Best of luck in all your future endeavors.

Towards the end of this season I have been saying that this year is given up and ready to move on, but the thing that keeps holding me back is losing Myles Mack. Will go down in history as one of our greatest ever. Has the basketball IQ for the whole team, has carried us on his back and singlehandedly won us games. Unreal from the free-throw line, truly unbelievable how reliable he is from the stripe. Also makes the Douby-esque 3's from the center court logo, and swishes them more often than not. Definitely my favorite player to watch play, up there with the greats. Thank you Myles, you are truly Jersey Strong and a Rutgers man, and you make us all proud.

I've gotten to know Myles fairly well over his time here...and all I can say is there are very few young men that have passed thru RU in the past 15 years or so that should be mentioned in the same breath as Mack.

As passionate, tireless and gifted a student athlete and teammate as you could ever desire to root for.

Mack, Jack, Kone and GLewis should all be given medals for what they withstood to play for this program and university. I hope they are duly recognized when the time comes by the fans who support them on their respective senior nights.

I for one will shake their hands and thank them again for the 100th time (f not more) as I hand them their RUTGERS jersey, and it will be one of the most moving experiences I've ever had during my association with Rutgers basketball.

Was excited when he chose to come to RU and rooted for him in particular because we are the same age and class. I will be clapping for him and I will miss him.

I rarely post, but a Myles Mack appreciation thread will get one out of me. Thank you for the past 4 years of service, Myles. You are a player we are all proud of and an amazing ambassador for my Alma Mater.
