Can Johnson be as good as Wesson? I know Wesson also has a jumper so I’m not expecting that, but in terms of being as dominant down low, I think he get close?

I don’t see anyone who can defend Wesson? Iowa State having the same problems as we had.

Wesson, Happ, Bruno Fernandez, don’t see Myles in any of those. Just hope Myles continues to develop, stay out of foul trouble and he will really contribute for 3 more years.

In three years he'll be better, maybe the dominant big man in the league. Not as strong yet, but more athletic and moves better.

The sky is the limit for Myles. I think he’s may already be a better rebounder and passer. He is very athletic and creative offensively. He needs to be smarter defensively because he had a tendency to pick up cheap fouls. This will ultimately limit his minutes and keep him from getting in the rhythm of the game as he looks to become a starter this year.

He also needs to improve FT shooting dramatically from 40%. Wesson was 74% and Fernando 77%. Omuruyi was 71%. None of these guys takes a lot of shots to get to their 13-15 pts per game and you are comfortable running set offensive plays through them. Compare that to Happ 47% who obviously was great, but needs a lot more shots to get his points. I don’t think Pike wants to run an offense where the post man is that big a focal point.

If Myles works hard on these parts of his game, there’s no reason he won’t see 22-25 minutes per game and consistent double figure scoring as early as next year.
