So, our son recently had to get a DOC band. For those that aren't familiar with them, they are a device used to help reshape and round out a baby's head when they have plagiocephaly (a mishapen head). His was because he was born with torticollis, where he could only turn his head to the right and as a result got a flat spot on the right side.
Anyway, background out of the way, I got put in charge of decoration. I picked the theme, and we discussed what direction we wanted to go. I wanted to make it as true to the Nebraska helmet as possible, my wife wanted to make it more decorative, so we compromised and made it more decorative. Here's the finished product, figured you guys would appreciate the inspiration of my work!
