Good point, but I hated being under Don for so long BECAUSE we just never really won anything. I was there in 93 against Miami, it was great. BUT I was there when Ohio St and Notre Dame came to town and embarrassed us. I give Don credit for doing well against BC, VT, and Pitt over the years, but sooooo many bowl losses and so few Big East titles. I do think it was a different kind of football back them also, right? More ground and pound, 4-3 defense, chew the clock kind of ball. Makes a difference. I'm not defending Dana's debacle against Baylor and TCU, but let's not get too sentimental about Don......we were never great under him and rarely good.</p></blockquote><p></p>
