Listened to the game on the way back from PA. This is a team that can make plays, but especially on D, can't make enough of them when it counts. Or when they do, someone does something stupid ala Lamar to negate the good thing.
Frost was wrong to go for it on fourth the first time, first momentum shift against NU. It's great to want to have faith it your kids, but not when the chance of producing a positive outcome is less than 1 in 5. NU will once again make those 4th and almost nothing downs, but right now it's better to kick and try again later.
The offense played with its hair on fire for a good stretch in the second half. Ziggy is asserting himself. I saw a couple of Amart highlights. He is going to be special, he just needs better help from his line.
The zebras treated NU horribly and that was probably worth a TD. So NU not being able to get out its own way meant that they were a TD less than Purdue.
