Hopefully Willie doesn't sue me for this. I actually filled out every match of every bracket with bonus points. Whoever made this spreadsheet is awesome! I will admit that I concentrated more on bonus points for the top contending teams. Anyway, I figured I would share.

I sure hope PSU doesn't get six champs, a 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place finisher. It is possible with the lineup they have as your picks don't seem very out of line to me. I'm hoping a couple of your 1 seeds slip up somewhere so Saturday night isn't the Penn State show, but that hasn't been the case in the past and I'm not expecting it this year either. Enjoy your team, I know I would if it was the Hawks.

I definitely do have some PSU shaded glasses, I'm sure, but, I try to be realistic. I feel really confident with Mesenbrink and Barr, somewhat confident with Haines, Duke and Van Ness, 52/48 with Lilledahl and slightly 45/55 on Welsh. Blaze wouldn't be out of the question either, though I'm not picking it.

I've mentioned before that I'm not sure if I'm in the minority, but, I miss when the battles were close, and I do believe they will be again pretty soon. It is better for the sport to have the title up for grabs heading into Saturday night.

The likely round 2 rubber match between Mirasola and Keuter is going to be a big one. The path for the loser to medal is tough, as they will likely get the loser of Taylor-Ghadali in the quarterfinals. Taylor is a big boy (so is Ghadali) and our guys have trouble with the big boys. I took Cole, but, obviously, it's a toss up that could go either way.

Just looking at my bracket, Block is a tough guy to predict. I have him losing to Joy, though it wouldn't completely shock me if he upset him. Then, I have him losing to Stiles, who I have losing a toss-up to Valencia in Round 2. I feel like Block is a tough match-up for anyone, but, he can also take bad losses, which makes him tough to predict.

I tend to over-rank the Big Ten unintentionally when I do these, as I just know those guys a bit better. We shall see how it turns out this year.

We will finish Higher the Nebraska this tournament
Perhaps with better draws and some offensive minded wrestling. Hard to see it happening with this team. I predict a few 3rd period losses on the way to losing in the blood round for guys that could have AA’d had they been properly trained and motivated to wrestle for TDs vice close wins…and eventual losses. Really hate the state of our program right now. Love TNT but I think the sport has passed them by from a coaching perspective.
i have Iowa 5th fwiw. i don't love PK's draw but I have block going on a run.
Hope you’re right about Block. Some offense in the first two periods would go a long way.

So, you're saying I'm not going to hit 100% on these. Honestly, if Keuter beats him, I have Keuter taking 5th, and I think that match-up is a 50/50 toss-up.

I have no real argument with any of your picks other than Mirasola is more like to not AA than he is to get 5th.
