Wouldn't that be something to see him and Carl Pickens out there!
Heck just getting those two legends out there to be in the stadium would be priceless to the fans and young kids. Former legends that played in NFL would be pretty cool.
As great as he was in highschool and college Shuler definitely wasn't an NFL legend... As a skins fan everytime I hear his name I envision him throwing another interception.
Hate to disagree with you, but anyone from the SMC that played in the NFL is legendary to most of us.
They are legends up there. Heath is still one of my all-time favorite high school football players in NC.
I saw him play as a sophomore when they came up and beat Elkin in 1988 in the state playoffs. I continued following him at Tennessee. Yes, his pro career was not great but anytime a guy can make it to the bigs in any sport, it’s pretty special especially a small-town school.

Can you say Tyler Hansbrough. Only men’s basketball player in NCAA history to be all America four years. NBA? Not so much. Legend to me.
A few cramps and a few puking on the sidelines but overall was a fun game to watch. Swain rolled out with nearly 40 players and we rolled out with 15 lol. Murphy lost 19-8 but there were no major injuries and everyone appeared to have a great time.
At 63, not even a chance of it. Oh, I see it's been played already and the Devils won.
