Anybody ever go there? I never did / or would.
A pretty poor location for a "restaurant" - OK for a pizza place maybe or a sandwich shop -
the cynical voice here wonders how much 'other people's money' was lost in this - somehow doubt that much came out of Murdock's wallet.

Murdock should have become a legendary NJ basketball figure. Now, his star shines brightest in Bridgewater, Providence, Milwaukee, and Bologna, Italy.

I know the late Vaughn Stapleton's wife and she always told me that he had trouble keeping chef's. I'll find out the latest scoop when I see her next week.

What ever happened to the extortion charges that were supposedly filed against him?

It's amazing how tough it is to run a successful restaurant in this area. That said, I'm not broken up about this.

That exact spot was the location of a very successful restaurant named Spain '92, they did so well there that they expanded and moved to a much bigger space a little further south on 202. Many years later, Spain 92 still seems to be going strong. My point is that the location was not necessarily the primary factor in the failure.

Hope he lost a lot of his own money when restaurant closed .
But wouldn't be surprised if he got people to back him because of restaurant honored
Vaughn Stapleton and he invested a minimal amount .

when word came out about him opening this place there were a lot of posts here about RU fans going in to do stuff to make him miserable..... I wonder how many did anything?

anybody here, except for the non flusher, and one bad review already mentioned?

I think staying away worked just fine.

That location has been terrible for restaurants since Spain 92 moved and the overpass for 202 was constructed.

It was beaten to death on this board when it was leaked. It's about the only amusing thing out of that whole debacle.

File Murdock next to the drawer with Tate George, Rumeal Robinson, Chris Gatling and Antoine Walker
