Hearing that both programs have requested the 9th game. Makes sense to play eachother.
Would love to see it happen, but the B1G is not in the business of doing anything helpful for the huskers. You would have a much better shot of playing if it was against anyone else.

Only half joking here...

Because the 9th game is a crossover and UM is shut down.

Pretty easy answer

No because my point is Nebraska wouldn’t ask for any opponent to play, I just happen to add IF they did.

ps- Wisconsin more likely will have to play Minnesota because the B1G wants to keep traditional games intact..

I am fine with playing MSU. I like playing new opponents vs repeats.

How would playing Michigan if we could, not be a new opponent? We’ve been in the B1G for 10 years and have only played them 4 times and MSU Nebraska have played 6 times.

MSU may be in the championship game if they beat PSU and Maryland beats Rutgers.
OSU — Not enough games.
Indiana — May be too sick to play.
Maryland — Not enough games.
Michigan — May be too sick to play.

So the East Division may come down to Rutgers, MSU or PSU.

If PSU beats MSU, and Rutgers beats Maryland, PSU is in because it beat Rutgers.
If PSU beats MSU, and Maryland beats Rutgers, PSU is in because it beat MSU.
If MSU beats PSU, and Rutgers beats Maryland, Rutgers is in because it beat MSU.
If MSU beats PSU, and Maryland beats Rutgers, MSU is in because it beat PSU.

Remember when third-place Leaders Division team Wisconsin made it to the B1G title game because OSU and PSU were both ineligible because they are ... I mean, were ... corrupt?

I try to forget the 2012 game, too.
