I wanted to let Mountaineer Nation know that my dad passed away on Saturday October 28. He was a 30+ year season ticket holder in Section 104 (this year moved to section 105) and frequent visitor to this site. He made meatballs for a lot of you I’m sure at Big Clay’s tent. I know some of you who would see him at games may be wondering where he’s been (he’d been too weak to attend the last few games), so I thought I’d let you all know. This was a shock to us and we would appreciate your prayers. His obituary is posted below:

Never had the pleasure of meeting him but I am sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss, hang in there. It’s always tough to lose a parent. I lost my mom to cancer 10 years ago, still hard to accept.
