Running clock - Late 2nd quarter. From what I understand this group of players and coaching staff are EXTREMELY motivated and excited for this matchup. Question is if the Bears let off the gas after halftime. Unfortunately last night in Robbinsville confirmed what we have know since middle school about this group of cardinals. Also confirms how special the younger Boaz was for his team along with the job coach Whitt done. Gonna be a long year for the cards. Early prediction - Lowman leaves at season’s end. Would have left this year if the rams had went in that direction.

I'll say this.. I've never seen MA's crowd cheer as hard as they did when the first score alert came though. MA's in a definite Rocky 6 spot of having "Stuff in the basement," to let out. They just gotta stay composed and let it happen naturally, ES is hoping MA is too emotional and messes up.
Went to the West Stokes game last night and glad to see coach Whitt and son with the wildcats. The team was ready to play and it helps when you have 12 coaches. ES will miss Whitt this year.
That was about the same as I was thinking MA should do. "If they have a huge lead"

Although we've never been that way. I've got one on the Mount Airy team and I am a Cardinal fan. I thought we would run the ball better than we did against robbinsville.2023 MA team will take your Pride and Tradition chew it up spit it out rock the baby toon the way to victory!
Mt airy wants to take 4 years of frustration out on East I'm sure and so do I but let's don't get carried away and cocky on here let the team go down and take care of business Friday night I like our chances if we'd had a minute and half more in last year's game we would have won I feel so let's keep it respectful
Having fun lighten up! Y'all have done plenty of chirping last 4 seasons. I have much respect for the Cards and the Coach is as good as anyone in State.

If you are referring to East Surry yard this video says 192 total yards. 148 passing & 44 rushing.

Robbinsville had 456 yards 109 passing & 347 passing.

That's for sure. I hope we shot ourselves in the foot a lot although I know that's part of it.
Coach Lowman will have East Surry ready and will prob play good at home. It is one of biggest rivals in State. There is a lot of respect for ES program.
I love our boys but we lose by 50. We are too sloppy to be fixed in a week.
East will have to throw the ball because big Floyd says they ain't running it. If they cant move it consistently then yes it will be a running clock.
That was Coach Holders last year with Ion Holder as the QB Game @ East Surry Bears won 31-21
Beat them @ MA in 2018 @ MA 31-28 and lost to them in the playoffs that year 40-00.... BEARS I HOPE YOU REMEMBER that and the years to follow !

ES & MA has pretty close win & lose records and played since i believe the 1960s before their name changed. I don't remember the first time they beat MA but I bet I was there.
