Tom Browning also threw one early, but I don't think it was opening day. nevermind Browning's was late, I don't know who I am thinking of, maybe Jack Morris? IDK it was in the early to mid 80's

YES! "The Heater from Van Meter", (Van Meter, IA) Bob Feller is correct. Happened on Opening Day 1940. Nice job Tuco.
