:eyes: :eyes: :eyes:....

That's huge to get Warren Washington from the West coast here for the game and a weekend....

That's Dixon's 3rd visit to RU in the last 3 months time.....

Battle is another player taking the time to visit

Mathis and Harper Jr there to help bring a Washington into the fold is another plus.

Mathis is a game changer to the culture....glad to see him on campus again for a great weekend.

Add Battle's teammate and prior visitor to RU multiple times, 2019 SG Paul Mulcahy to the list tonight.....I believe Battle, Dixon and Mulcahy are all in the Top 150 for 2019.....Battle in the Top 75 for certain....

Believe Dixon and Mulchay are both top 50-75 range

Dixon, Battle and Mulchay trio as a three man class would be a top 10 class for 2019

@Rhuarc good one haha. We played well above my original expectations yesterday and did the unthinkable and covered the spread. Only upward from here.

I and others have asked about recruiting for '18 given our current roster situation. I get that it's very common to not have a guaranteed spot. But guys who know this well--Russ, Hawk, others--I guess there's a general framework but no two situations are exactly the same. Suppose, for example, Washington or any kid wanted to give a verbal. Would it just be kept among coahes?

Warren Washington is very athletic. Runs the floor, sees the floor & passes well, blocks shots, rebounds & has a STROKE-- from the line & the perimeter. Would really love to see you here at RU Warren. Know you would flourish with Coach Pike.

Covering the spread was far from unthinkable. Seemed pretty obvious if you're paying attention to the football program. Won me some money on it

If you remember the past 10 years or so for RU hoops tailgates they always had that covered camp area behind the stage of the football tailgate area by the stadium that was very isolated not into the whole football scene. LOVE the move they had this year where they had a truck by the front of the stadium with a bunch of tv's, a little hoop, and an environment fans were almost seemingly encouraged to interact with the hoops team as little kids were shooting on the hoop with the recruits so great having the fans involved now with the hoops team at the football game. Great move!

That is something that would be decided by the kid, his parents and the Rutgers coaching staff.

A silent verbal is a possibility when a program is "full" as it would hold a spot while the kid goes,on other visits just in case.

That sounds like a great move. I remember the tent they used in the past and it was very isolating. Another smart move made by this new staff

Freeman, Sanders, Baker, Omoruyi, Bullock I also saw. I think I saw Johnson as well but am not 100% certain. Doorson, Doucoure and Kiss might have been there too but I don't think I saw them. Everyone seemed very happy. There were quite a few recruits there as well.Harper and Mathis were having a great time. I know Washington, Dixon and Battle were all present as well.

Yes, CJ looked in great shape. He seemed to have slimmed down. A lot of people commented how great he looked.
