I know! But still two more vs the Brewers in Milwaukee. At least I will be home to watch the games. GO REDLEGS!Reds win
Mets lose
The two teams are now tied for the final playoff spot with the Reds owning the tiebreaker advantage.
Hopefully one with a happy ending.Mets won 5-0. Reds are currently up 6-2 in the 4th. If this holds, it will be great drama tomorrow afternoon.![]()
No. Haha. I can’t stand the teams that just have a blank check. If the Yankees ever figure out that you have to be able to actually RUN the bases, put the ball in play, and play great defense to win in the playoffs… I’d be shocked. The AL East teams should be embarrassed at the collection of little league parks they play in. At least the Orioles figured it out and moved their short porch in Left back a few years agoGoooooooooooooo Dodgers!!!
I wish they’d spend more lol I want them to stretch it as far as they can until they make a change. I hope they assemble a video game roster with a $40mil player at every position. But if LA doesn’t win, then I’d like to see one of the smaller market teams win it all.No. Haha. I can’t stand the teams that just have a blank check. That’s a really good point about the Braves place. I regret that I’ve driven through Atlanta a handful of times, and kick myself that I didn’t get to Turner. I’ve heard good things about the new place. There’s a Facebook page called “Chasing 30” that has people telling their story of trying to get to all 30 active stadiums. Some cool stories from all different walks of life, at different points in their journey. If you ever get a chance to check out the Braves new stadium (if you haven’t yet), it’s really nice and a lot of fun. I highly recommend.
I told my wife like 3 days ago that I wanted to do something like that once our kids are out of the house (so like 15+ years lol) but instead of MLB, I wanted to hit up the top 20-30 college football atmospheres. That’s a really good point about the Braves place. Not necessarily disagreeing on a possible upgrade .But The biggest problem the royals had was pitching injuries. Never had their starting rotation together after a month in the season. Cole Ragans a Cy young finalist last year pitched only 50 innings this year . Bubick and others were hurt all year. Still only finished 4 games out of a playoff spot. I Thought Matt did a great job considering everything.Bummed that the Royals are out (pissed that they refused to upgrade the OF in any significant way at the deadline). However, I am fascinated and really enjoying the Tigers' collapse!
Respectfully disagree about the pitching. Even with the injuries the Royals had the 6th best team ERA for the season. JJ has been a wizard at identifying low cost pitching to plug holes. But (BUT!) the Royals were 26th in runs scored and 26th in home runs, bottom 1/3 in almost every other offense category. Wacha and Cameron had the 3rd and 5th worst run supports in baseball for pitchers with 20 starts. Had this offense not been good but just slightly better - they would've been in the playoffs. Too bad because the offense looked better at the end of the season. I also like Q, but I was super disappointed to hear they're bringing back the same hitting coach. Not necessarily disagreeing on a possible upgrade .But The biggest problem the royals had was pitching injuries. I agree with this assessment without hesitation and zero sarcasm.Ohtani is the best player to ever walk the Earth…. Are we all pretty much in agreement?
Don’t worry. They kept their former pitcher, turned hitting coach. The offense should take off any day now….Not necessarily disagreeing on a possible upgrade .But The biggest problem the royals had was pitching injuries. From a dude who doesn't watch basketball or baseball, if i know more about the WNBA than MLB, I'd say no.Does any pro sport do a worse job of marketing the postseason?
I do not think it is even close.Ohtani is the best player to ever walk the Earth…. Are we all pretty much in agreement?
Ha! Sooo true! From a dude who doesn't watch basketball or baseball, if i know more about the WNBA than MLB, I'd say no.
Agree with the 314' in right field. T-Ball stuff. Go Jays!!!!Toronto has the Yanks hanging by a thread. But keep adding on, because that Little League porch in RF can reduce leads in a hurry.
Go Jays!
