I think Amanda Zahui B just wrapped up B1G player of the year she scored 39 points and grabbed 29 rebounds her 19th double-double of the season. Recall she scored 36 with 15 rebounds against Rutgers. If we face Minnesota again we will need to keep her off the blocks & double her when she touches the ball down low.

She makes it look too easy, taking a high pass, turning and banking it in. She has great touch, and knows how to rebound. Against Rutgers she looked good although got away with a lot of stuff the officials missed.

She is an example of a good player on a team without many scoring options.

Iowa lost because they looked for the three most of the time (I saw the entire second half only) and couldn't make a shot or offensive rebound close to the basket. Minny won because they kept feeding the post and Iowa could not defend it.

When we lost to Iowa Dixon was on a very hot streak, plus they had other scoring options. I really think if we played them now or in a couple of weeks from now we should win.

has anyone tried to figure out the tiebreakers with Iowa, Minnesota, and Ohio State if RU is tied with more than one of them. If they all finish 13-5 then what happens. RU loses to tiebreakers with Iowa and Ohio State if its just a two way tie but if its Iowa/RU/Minnesota those schools are 1-1 head to head so then it goes to the next tiebreaker

I thought about working out the tiebreakers, but it's too complicated now. I was planning to wait until it's down to 1 or 2 games to play, partly because the range of possible scenarios should narrow.

Minnesota and Iowa play one another again, I think, so if the three-way tie does happen, RU can't come out on top since one of those others will be 2-1 against the other two.

All we have to do is win out and there will be no possibility of a three way tie and if we end up with a two way tie with Iowa then we are the three seed.no B1G deal.

Minn has Neb and Iowa left
NW has Neb, MD, and us (Neb this week)
OSU has Iowa and Neb. (Iowa this week)

If we can get done with Mich St, and things go our way, we could have a 2 game lead over Neb, NW, and OSU, and a 1 game lead over Minn, going into the final week. Plus while we have NW and Indiana, the others have ranked opponents in the final week too. So our schedule is favorable.
