Minnesota huge OT win at Purdue

League is a bear....big time win by Minnesota. They played a talented but young MSU toe to toe before losing a heartbreaker and now just bounced back with a huge quality win at Purdue.

The gap between RU and these programs are pretty large. Little Rickys team imploded at the end of last year after a bunch of close losses, he is setting this team up nicely for a NCAA bid. Unfortunately while there are no powerhouses in the league, it looks like teams 1-11 are several notches ahead of RU

There is parity in college basketball because the 3 point shot negates the advantage of teams with size in the front court.Rutgers is a bottom tier program because they lack scorers at every position which puts added pressure on the defense not to foul.

The 2018 and 2019 classes are huge for RU, as the freshman and sophomore current roster pieces are mostly complimentary players...and sanders will be gone before this team has a winning season

Watch alot of Gopher games, they will be very tough in the games that Nate Mason shoots well, but he will shoot them out of alot of B10 games as well. They are a very plucky team with some quality bigs. Curry and Coffey will continue to grow throughout this conference season.

And to think RU beat them last year ... Almost every other team seems capable of an upset ... Feels like any B1G win (it any) is an upset.
