I guess I have to root for Minn and PJ “The Douche” Fleck. I just hate Iowa and will not pull for them under any circumstances.

This is going to be an unpopular take. I hope Iowa wins out well except if we could actually pull an upset. I have a ton of Hawkeye friends and some family. We have a husker/Hawkeye party every which is a ton of fun well for the most part anyway.

Always cheered for them before we joined the Big10. i know they have some douche bag fans. But who doesn't? Take a look at this board....

IMO, Fleck didn't get over the Penn State win. He has never won a game of that level in his coaching career and it is showing for how bad his gameplan has been against Iowa. You can say you flip the switch on Sunday to the next game, but it isn't always taht easy when you are not used to big career making wins.

this has been a bad gameplan.

Fleck, all on his own, is worse than Iowa. Iowa sucks, but Fleck gargles it.

That onside kick was dumb. With that much time you kick deep and play D.

That was an awful coaching job by Fleck. Overrated.

This just means that Iowa will get shut out by Illinois next weekend because that's what they do best after big wins

Apathy can be a bad thing. But it illustrates the impact of two programs in a smaller state. At this second, there are 130,000 fans in college football stadiums in Iowa.
Also, both Iowa teams wore all black uniforms. What was up with ISU? Sometimes alt unis are just jarringly inappropriate. Unless I missed something, I don't understand the 'Clones uniform choice.

Today's lesson from Minnesota and Nebraska — it doesn't matter how many yards you put up on offense (431 for Minnesota and 493 for Nebraska) if you can't put it in the end zone.

Iowa looked like its old self after that first flurry. Good opening game plan from Boy Ferentz, but fewer than 100 yards in the second half. They relied on the good graces of Fleck's boneheadedness and a little Kinnick Magic.

Good to see the fans boo an injured quarterback at the end.

that's not trash talk, friend, just stating relevant facts.

defensive much?
Why is it relevant? Relevant facts are things like Iowa is 7-3. Nebraska is 4-6. Unsure how attendance of games affects the score, but since it is so important to you Iowa, ISU and UNI had home games today. Not sure of the other Nebraska football powers of Hastings, Dana and Midland Lutheran had home games.

the boo was because they were out of timeouts and that was the only way to stop the clock. So everyone figured he went all Michigan State and faked it.

Bragging about attendance is all Nebraska has left.

And I just learned it's a Volleyball school.

Are there people in Iowa who routinely attend both Iowa and ISU games throughout a season?
Honest question.
I thought Hawkeye fans hated ISU and vis versa.

This game was a blackout game by the fans. ISU has worn those jerseys a few times but they seem like TCU knock offs. (Yes, I realize Iowa has Steeler knockoffs)
