1000 times better than your Ginger Jesus. But back then, you used to agree that Saturdays matter. Now you need to stick to what outfits they wear, while excusing the trash coaching going on now. I hope you’re enjoying it!Sick$&it stirrer..

Was it his decision to hire Diaco? I though Eichorst told him to do it.Mike Riley would have posted better results than what we’ve seen the past 5 years; I don’t think that’s even in dispute. There would have been around 5 to 8 wins a year, a bowl game or two. His downfall was listening to too many people going into 2017 and hiring Diaco, who wasn’t a good fit for the program from Day 1 (schematically, personality—you name it). If he had kept Banker and at least maintained that consistency, we’d likely be a 7 win program today and we could center our complaints about December bowl games, not being the laughingstock of the Big Ten.
That’s my understanding, too. Have no firsthand knowledge about how true it is. But Banker was his friend and had been his defensive coordinator for a long time, so I’m guessing his hand was forced. Was it his decision to hire Diaco? I though Eichorst told him to do it.
I agree. Mike Riley at least qualified for bowl games in two out of his three years here. If we hadn't gone from being a 9-4 team to a 4-8 team the very next year, most likely Mike Riley would still be coaching here.Mike Riley would have posted better results than what we’ve seen the past 5 years; I don’t think that’s even in dispute. Moos would have never keep him around for two more seasons for 5 years and they would have had 2 losing season as well.. Hell they might have won fewer games in 2018 than SF did..Mike Riley would have posted better results than what we’ve seen the past 5 years; I don’t think that’s even in dispute. Eichorst was a a total **** show. Was it his decision to hire Diaco? I though Eichorst told him to do it.
Wrong he had one winning season 9-4 in 2016..I agree. Mike Riley at least qualified for bowl games in two out of his three years here. If we hadn't gone from being a 9-4 team to a 4-8 team the very next year, most likely Mike Riley would still be coaching here.
Neither Eichorst nor Riley made that call. Look further up.Was it his decision to hire Diaco? I though Eichorst told him to do it.
I said two bowl games, not two winning seasons. Went 6-7 his first season.Wrong he had one winning season 9-4 in 2016..
They still had a losing season and were gifted a bowl..
I know they still didn’t qualify for a bowl… Made one because of not enough .500 teams and they had a higher grade point average…I said two bowl games, not two winning seasons. Went 6-7 his first season.
And for agreeing to accept the bowl invitation in the first place.I know they still didn’t qualify for a bowl… Made one because of not enough .500 teams and they had a higher grade point average…
Commend them for winning the bowl game..
That isn’t the worst idea and we would be better off..I'd take callahan and just replace frost with him, keep everyone else
Callahan could at least recruit. If he were to get a good defensive coordinator I would definitely be for it.I'd take callahan and just replace frost with him, keep everyone else
Callahan wasn’t as horrible as many make him out to be. His Offense could score points. He could also recruit really well. Could have developed some players better and also deserved a better D-coordinator.I'd take callahan and just replace frost with him, keep everyone else
He’s the best offensive line coach. Maybe in the history of football. Milt was good, but in a niche system taught for decades. Callahans lines are very well rounded, and consistent. But he was an outsider, so he had to be drug through the mud by our inbred fanbase. No doubt Callahan is one of the better offensive coordinators/lines coach in the NFL..
His biggest downfall was his choice for defensive coordinator. If he had hired a good defensive coordinator instead of his buddy Kevin Cosgrove, he likely would have a job. He’s the best offensive line coach. Maybe in the history of football. That’s the main reason, he was loyal and didn’t want to change if Callahan would have fired him ( which he wouldn’t) I believe he could have stuck around longer..His biggest downfall was his choice for defensive coordinator. I believe so too. Unfortunately he didn't and the rest is history. That’s the main reason, he was loyal and didn’t want to change if Callahan would have fired him ( which he wouldn’t) I believe he could have stuck around longer..
Never been a OC , but a great line CoachNo doubt Callahan is one of the better offensive coordinators/lines coach in the NFL..
Osborne wasn’t going to keep him, after all the lies and stories told because some people didn’t get the access they were used to. Didn’t matter his defense wasn’t good, we have just as bad now, and those same boosters are happy because they get to run an NIL club, and travel with the team. His biggest downfall was his choice for defensive coordinator. Dallas offense coordinator and lines coach from 2012-2014Never been a OC , but a great line Coach
Oh I’d get rid of chin especially after yesterday embarrassing disasterI'd take callahan and just replace frost with him, keep everyone else
I think Osborne would have kept Callahan if he could have finished the 2007 season with a winning record. If he had gotten rid of Cosgrove and had started Joe Ganz earlier in the season, he might have saved his job.Osborne wasn’t going to keep him, after all the lies and stories told because some people didn’t get the access they were used to. Telling you we don’t have enough depth on the D-line currently..Oh I’d get rid of chin especially after yesterday embarrassing disaster
Dawson and Ruud as well.Oh I’d get rid of chin especially after yesterday embarrassing disaster
Ruud wasn’t out there missing tackles Heinrich was..Dawson and Ruud as well.
Well if that’s what you’re going by, Chinander wasn’t out there either.Ruud wasn’t out there missing tackles Heinrich was..
I think the defense was gassed in the second quarterTelling you we don’t have enough depth on the D-line currently..
NW line whipped us in the 4thQ .
