Bob Valcano just tweeted that prayers need to be said for Mike Pratt as he is dealing with health issues. He didn’t say what is going on but I am sure Mike would appreciate prayers.
Did you play ball for UK?!Mike is my UK teammate and a good friend I am praying for him and his family

Pretty sure he was a manager not a player. He's also the guy who impersonated a cop to get closer to Pitino in the 90's.I don’t know him well
But have seen him post about playing for Rupp several times. I would love to hear more about it 2adulterers

I know the facts about the incident, and you are way off base.
Do you know him personally?
I join all the BBN and people beyond who appreciate Mike Pratt and wish him a complete recovery from what ever health issues he may be experiencing. Mike was part of one of the greatest recruiting classes in UK history and it is a shame they did not take home an NCAA championship.
Mike had the prettiest bank shot of any UK player in my memory and that is an art to shooting that is not seen much, if at all, today. Mike was also one tough player. One of my Army buddies played football with him in Dayton, Ohio and said Mike would put you on your butt in a heart beat. He was tough on the basketball court too. May God touch you Mike. .

Very possible. I just remember reading an article somewhere that said he was trying to escort the team. But the main point of him impersonating an officer is correct.I know the facts about the incident, and you are way off base.
I can believe this 100%. I watched Pratt play at UK and he was probably the toughest guy I've seen put on a UK uniform next to Larry Stamper. I believe it was the Mississippi State Game when he was playing with a broken nose and kept a handkerchief in his shorts to wipe the blood off his face during the game. They don't come much tougher than that. Hope he pulls through.I believe that.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

They tend to forget the old guys Jim Andrews needs to be up thereMike's banner should have been hung in Rupp long, long ago! I've wondered for years why it hasn't been.
Thanks, I just remember that it happened but really wasn't sure against who. In any case, that's the sign of a super tough individual. It was Notre Dame game we splinted his nose with a popsicle stick
I thought he said he was a manager or something to that effectI don’t know him well
