GMC hoops finals headed to Kean, not back to the RAC
Similar to State Tourney issue before RU is expected to just eat the cost. So complain about the athletic deficit and ask what freebies RU can provide.
A really crafty politician would have slid some some extra dough into the recent bill to compensate for the cost. A statesman-like politician would have found a way for the State to pay for a State owned building at the State university for hoops practice so the floor at the main arena would be more available.
This is annoying:

Kind of a bad job by RU to charge $10 to park for GMC games. Obviously, there's plenty of places to park for free but as someone who lives among them, most of these local-yokels are largely clueless about the RU campuses, believe me.

If Kean can make this work financially, RU could have found away.

Kean can make it work financially because their facility is little more than a glorified HS gym -- less cost to open the place up, less staffing, etc. If the GMC wanted to have the tourney at the RAC, they should at least make sure RU doesn't lose any money on it.

Sorry, but this is just dumb. I think a fundamental element of the county tournament should be that it is played within the county. Now, I understand that it is the "Greater" Middlesex County Conference; but there has to be another option.

Wow.On the flip side of this ru could only hope to emulate baseball and softball facilities at Kean. They really are too notch.

Play the finals at Middlesex County College which probably has comparable seating to Kean .I agree charging $10 dollars for parking at the RAC is ridiculous for a county tournament.
