All depends on how they finish the season and do in the AAC Tourney. Because of their OOC record, if they don't do great they can be left out.
Right now the only teams that should get in unless there is a collapse is Houston and maybe Wichita State. this is based on records and not the AAC Tournament
I’m with loca, Cincinnati is on the bubble now but they need a strong finish to be in. If they had lost to ECU that might have been disastrous for them. We were approaching bubble status before Brandon got hurt. Dropping those two to lower level teams probably put us in the position of winning out or winning the tournament in order to dance. I can’t see us as a 5 seed in the NIT though. If we don’t make the NCAA I think we’ll be a top 4 NIT seed and get at least 1 home game.
I think we can lose 1 more game in conference regular season and then win 1 in the AAC tournament and it puts us in that gut wrenching watch mode on selection Sunday. That'd be the 14-4 and include a road win at either WSU or Houston. They're both tough but not impossible and completely do-able.
With how mediocre the conference is, I don’t think we can do 14-4 unless we go to the conference finals
