Big blow, they'd have been a preseason top-5 team if he came back.

I think they are going to lose Poole also. If Matthews declares that would be pretty harmful. Michigan will never be "bad", but they aren't "win the B1G good" with these losses. UM would have been LOADED if the guys mentioned above would have come back.

Michigan has untested 4 * players on their bench and 2 more coming in as it stands now....maybe they'll find a spring 3rd and 4th piece with these departures....Michigan will be more than OK.

I read somewhere that the agent rule changed this year. You are not automatically ineligible anymore if you hire an agent. Looks like he's got his mind made up though.

Poole? Nice player but he’s not not nba caliber in my opinion. I thought Matthews was a senior.

Surprised Brazdekis is leaving. He could use another year in college to boost his stock. A strong Michigan team would also help his ranking..

Makes sense for Brazdeikis. Although he was a freshman, he's already 20 year's old and physically ready for the next level.

I'm really surprised by this. I think he's a very good player, but he showed a lot of inconsistency this year in the games I watched. When he played against us, he looked ALL WORLD, but in many games I watched, he just disappeared. I really don't think he's quite ready for the next level. I think of him as a 3 year starter for Michigan before making the jump.
