Tied up at 17 in the 2nd quarter.

New QB for FAU tonight, not sure if it's due to an injury or coaches decision.

Any idea how good Miami was supposed to be this year?

FAU scored their first TD on the same TE delay play they scored on Tulsa last weekend.

This game was tied late in the third quarter. FAU used their backup QB and TB most of the game. As I said in the prediction thread, this team is much better than the credit they are given. Like our 2003 team. It was frustrating to see the comparisons to the over time win against Tulane last year. Tulane is a shambles. The team has a lot to be proud of by gutting out the FAU win in the heat. They are a legit contender for their conference title. To answer the question above, most people picked Miami to finish 3rd in the coastal division and go to a minor bowl.

I agree, the 1 drive he played Miami defense had no answer. Same Miami defense that was 14th in the Nation last year. Gave up a longer play to FAU on the 1st drive than we did in the entire game in week 1.

Replay of that game on FoxSports this AM. Backup QB for FAU is a backup for a reason. Wish we could have seen a full comparison.

FAU still would have been in trouble, Miami is just quicker. Speed kills.

We need more speed.

And FAU conveniently turned the ball over 4 times inside the 40 to set up Miami's cushion early in the 4th. Misleading final score. FAU outplayed Miami for 3 quarters. Another encouraging sign for tonight for TU.
