I enjoy watching a good Mississippi State football team. We are not. I want us to get better. I'm sorry I don't come over here to post for your sunshine pumping viewing pleasure. I will post when we do play well and have a good game. But I'm also not gonna beat my chest after beating a 17ing terrible team like vandy like you should. Some of you loser mentality ***** are suffering from some kind of deal from Felker or Croom and are just happy we show the up and put a jersey on. Some of us want a damn good competitive football team. you are a part of this dang society where everyone gets a trophy now and just happy to have participate. Perhaps you would be happier on genespage where the sunshine and happy rainbows live. Go put your rainbow shirt on and go over there. I don't post here to appease you. Because I'm on my phone I can't tell if you're asking me or not, but I'll answer anyway.
I never know what to expect with this team. We have the kind of team that can lose to Memphis but beat Texas A&M on the road. And the inconsistency is maddening, especially when this team occasionally shows you what it's capable of.
Not as good as it did a few hours ago. (NC State currently down by 4 to the 2-4 fighting Manny Diaz's midway through the 3rd Q.) Wild season, nobody is safe.
That fine. But I don’t get being upset after this game or even complaint at all when pretty nobody thought it would go this way. It’s okay to be pleased at times
I don't see anyone being upset from the game today. I see people getting upset on here that some of us don't want to hang a banner for our win today.
I would think of a team on a day exceeded expectations for that day people would be happy. It’s ok to getting back to bitching and moaning tomorrow but after a day where things went well you would think people would be happy about it.

If you didn't enjoy 2 of our last 3 games and think we looked like a pretty good team in those games then you know very little about football (which was already apparent). I know it's not as much fun when your constant bitching is actually met with resistance, but try to stay cool.
Actually (since it's obvious you're talking about me I'll respond), my issue is the overtly negative slant on this football team even on a day when we look great and exceed most all expectations. I opened the board and there wasn't a single discussion on the front page of how well we played except one I started at halftime. That rubbed me the wrong way and I said so.
A lot of 17ing people here obviously agree with me, so maybe it's worth a discussion. The standard fallback about Genes page is tired. I've said plenty of negative **** about MSU teams on here. It's just not my go to position, being a fan of the teams and all.
I take the season as a whole. Come back to me at the end of the season. So far we have one good win
Against nc state And another pretty good win also against tamu. But you are also made up of your losses also. Memphis was a terrible loss. Lsu is a bad loss. The way we lost to bama is not a good team. That's the worst we have lost to them in a long time. If we win against Kentucky and Auburn we will be in a much better spot to be considered good or improving. Right now we are just about 500 of our remaining games only one of those teams is a for sure win and all the remaining teams in SEC have better records than we do. Right now the west other teams have played and the way we have played we will be lucky to make a bowl game. I'm sorry when someone shows you facts and looks objectively at a football team and season. I'm sorry you only see things with rose colored glasses and all you can do is ***** about other posters.

I don’t think anyone wants anyone to be pumped up about beating Vandy. I think most people just want the bitching to stop until it’s warranted again and the bitching isn’t warranted today. We all know that this Vandy win didn’t prove anything. If we look like **** and lose to kentucky no one will say much to people bitching about our coach and team.
Might as well get used to it. We could win out and these same posters would still be grieving over the Memphis loss.
