Went to the game today. First timer.
In my honest opinion, the place looks like a dump and needs to be renovated. Hard to move anywhere. Seating to close together. Concessions stand took forever to get something. I mean, the money saved by not going to a bowl game <7 years now> could help pay for it
For the love of God, why no alcohol sales? Seriously, it's the 21st century!
I liked their jumbotron that should highlights of other games going on. Maybe build another one in the south endzone?
Rant over. Go Hawks!!

Didn’t they approve a 400 million renovation?

Back in the day (1980s and 1990s) Nebraska was known for their facilties and at one point were considered to be some of the nicest and ahead of their time.. That was one of the factors that helped them recruit... Fast forward 20-30 years and they are just mediocre now. There old facilities have fallen behind. I would argue that most schools in the Big Ten have just as good, if not better facilities than Nebraska does now... I think Iowa's is much better, more recent and far more modern now after millions and millions of dollars worth of renovations.... There certainly is no longer a big gap there... Now, with all that being said - Nebraska did just approve a 450 million dollar renovation plan that will begin at the end of the 2024 season.
