Does the throw to and catch by Jennings rank up there with Major's fantastic run against Penn State in 88? (spoiler: IMHO it does) Oh hell, I forgot the 2 point conversion too.

Everything was absolutely perfect about that play: Jennings splitting the two defenders, the timing, the throw being right where it needed to be, the over the back reception, and the footwork. Even the reactions of the Longhorn fans behind the end zone who thought Jennings was out were hilarious.
I was at Majors run and I would say this is on anybody’s very short list of Mountaineer greatest plays.
It does, although I am particularly fond of Owen Schmitt hurdling down the sideline. Schmitt play was not as important but equally impressive IMHO.
Not as far as the outcome is concerned. Majors run was in the first quarter and he sent the wrong way. This is when time is running out, behind, game on the line. This is equal to hostetler s run, the pick that sealed the win over Penn state, . The two point conversation might be equal to the field goal to beat Pitt in 72.
I would add Robert Walker's run against Miami in 93. Loudest I think I have personally ever heard Mountaineer Field.
Pat Randolph's 4th quarter touchdown run to beat Penn State for the first time in 29 years in 1984 and Darren Studstill's touchdown pass to Ed Hill late in the game to beat Boston College and preserve a perfect 1993 regular season come to mind.
