This is gonna sound insane initially but hear me out. I swear, the smartest thing a coach could do is hire someone who plays the Madden video games every year to be their time management person. A person who grew up playing the Madden video games has played through thousands and thousands of time management reps. Coaches usually only truly get timeout reps 2x a game, 12 to 14 games each season. A Madden player can go through that many reps in a single day. There's something to repetitions and it would explain why so many coaches blow at time management.

I’ve never said Joseph should get the permanent HC job, but I think he’s doing pretty well considering the **** show he inherited. There’s a lot of space between Frost-level terrible and “OMG OMG OMG, just make this guy the head coach!”

I’ve been pretty impressed with what Mickey has done with the train wreck he inherited. Not saying he’s gotta be the guy, but to say he doesn’t deserve a shot at all is crazy as well. Let it play out then blast him or praise him.
