I think most people in the SEC circles are pullng for Ole Miss. i think our fanbase are well aware of how big of a game this is for OU not only on the national level but also on the SEC perceived level. After last seasons struggles the SEC fans were chanting “ We told you so” to now possibly having to eat crow if OU is to beat Kiffen and company becoming a real threat in the SEC.

Beating Ole Miss could be the thing that pushes OU into actually the media having to start paying attention to them being a possible playoff contender. The road is a tough one but it just might be acheivable.

So how does everyone feel about the rest of the season? I will say Greg McElroy was dead on with his take on Mateer. I sure had no issue with his remarks late in the game.

We will see how the OU D reacts vs another high potent offense next week but I hope they handle Tenn better than they did Ole Ms today.

The Ole Ms QB is very good and was the better QB on the field today.

I feel we are likely going to win one….maybe two more games. I’m hoping we win 8 in regular season. This offense just isn’t consistent enough, IMO. I’m glad we played Michigan when we did. We have a brutal schedule. Just saying.

Same feeling I have. I just can’t see us winning the next 2 games but I do I think they will beat either Mizzou or LSU but not both.

7-5 I think is the ceilling and if they manage to get to 8-4, it would end up being an ok season. Not really sure though how I feel about “ok” seasons honestly.

8-4 would feel much better if Texas was one of the 8.

Great win tonight. What a kicker OU has. 2 Quick things.

1. WTH was Arbuckle thinking. Run the ball and eat clock instead of trying to get sneaky. That was almost costly.

2. Honest ?. As far as I can remember OU opponents have not been called for any holds on the offensive line in the last 12 quarters. How is that even possible? When was the last time they have called them for holding. Just insane and ultimately impossible.
