Have you maybe considered that they played their worst offensive game of the year...Maybe just maybe it was because Oswego's Defense was legit and good defenses do that to a team! You could say the exact same argument for the Oswego Offense! Get over your private schools selves and just acknowledge that Oswego was actually good! It's ok, say it with me.... O.S.W.E.G.O was pretty good! Now doesn't that make you feel better?MC played it's worse game offensively in a long time and still won by 17.
I though the same thing about the backhanded comment. As if Oswego's D wasn't the reason.Have you maybe considered that they played their worst offensive game of the year...Maybe just maybe it was because Oswego's Defense was legit and good defenses do that to a team! I saw a number of MC games this year. That was by far the best defense I’ve seen played against them. Oswego’s defense was well schooled, fast and physical.I though the same thing about the backhanded comment. As if Oswego's D wasn't the reason.
You're reading into to this a bit much and coming back with a bit of a high school like sensitive response but yes, all credit to Oswego and a excellent performance defensively but having watching MC closely this season and for the past 40 plus years this was the worst they played offensively all season and they still won by 17. Just an observation not a knock on Oswego's excellent game plan. See above response, not meant to come off as backhanded.I though the same thing about the backhanded comment. As if Oswego's D wasn't the reason.
The hit by number 10 on the first? play of the game set the tone for their defense.I saw a number of MC games this year. That was by far the best defense I’ve seen played against them. Oswego’s defense was well schooled, fast and physical.
I actually agree with you. The team was playing cold and the QB who wasn’t always the most accurate all season was even more inaccurate. Both defenses were the highlight for sure and one defense gave up 20. If this game is played in above freezing conditions that 20 easily becomes higher and I don’t feel comfortable saying the same about Oswego.See above response, not meant to come off as backhanded.
Six of that twenty was special teams.I actually agree with you. The team was playing cold and the QB who wasn’t always the most accurate all season was even more inaccurate. This board operates mostly on the false premise that there is always one truth. The reality is both can be true. Oswego played their tails off and had a great defensive performance that is true. MC offense looked off all game even while scoring a couple times thats true. It was negative 1 million below zero out and that affects offenses more than defenses and we saw that last night as
That play was a killer. Completely different game without it.Six of that twenty was special teams.
The outcome probably would have been the same (TD), but I was surprised he kicked it. Basically took it off his foot. That play was a killer. Completely different game without it.
Oswego was very good. Period. It's ok, say it with me.... O.S.W.E.G.O was pretty good! Now doesn't that make you feel better?
