The biggest issue I can see is we don’t have any alpha players yeah we have a couple cheap talkers, but we have way to many submissive players, we don’t have the Peter brothers types or Tommie Frazier types that wouldn’t stand for someone taking a play or two off. The wanted to control the game no different than Michael Jordan in the final minutes he wanted the ball and he made to plays. Imo I think We’ll have some in the freshman class maybe sophomore class. You can’t coach that. We need more talent plus guys with a attitude that they can back up

Weak Frost holdovers

Maybe some of it. But he could have got rid of those guys or not put them in position to decide the game (IGC). Also Neyor was his recruit and his drop would have iced the game. It’s just hard to comprehend this right now.

Yes, he should have gotten rid of those guys but I'm not sure he understood how mentally weak these players really were. Even worse than at Temple or Baylor.

without Frost's players, who made up basically the entire defense, we're a 3 win team

everyone Rhule's brought in is an even bigger loser than them somehow
Hutch and Ty are the only real good Frost guys on defense

Barney? Wright?

Are you having problems scoring against air again?
Guy literally runs and hides from “meek bitches”, his own words. Everyone here knows Kong is the most hilarious person to be talking mental toughness. The guy covers the board in period blood every single day.

would you be surprised to hear Barney scored exactly zero receiving TDs this year? I'm guessing yes.

Wright is a good player, I'm not sure why he was buried on the depth chart for the first quarter of the season.

that's 2 guys. a majority of our starters this year were Frost's guys, including the best players on our best unit.

Barney did have three rushing TD’s. He had a nice Freshman year. I think he will really thrive in DH’s offense next year (assuming both are still here).

he had a great freshman year. really fun player to watch

but I'm not sure our record is any different without him.

without Ty and Nash, we'd be in big trouble.

Rhule could be on the downhill side of his career already, if he was ever up to this level of task to begin with. Maybe the Carolina disaster burnt him out. He didn’t exactly take time off. Hopefully not, we’ll see.

I guess you forgot to mention Barney scored on rushing TDs.

Injuries to Hill? Needed time to learn the defense?

You surprised that 6th year DLs are the best players? And did you forget about all the good young DLs we have?

Does Rhule get any credit for any of that?

this is kong's tactic. Deception by omission, slight of hand.
"But what about rushing TDs against ranked teams?"
The point is I’m not sure he influenced our record at all like frosts players obviously did.

Okay if you disagree.

Does Rhule get credit for hypotheticals and unanswerable questions?

Yea, sure.

Probably true. But weren’t you Ty’s most outspoken critic?

Results have been crappy but there is improvement. Rhule is a much better coach than frost but I think he's just slightly above average overall. We'll see if we can make the famous 3rd year bump. Maybe having roster limits and getting rid of some dead weight might be a good thing. We got some good young players.
