That he expects 2 more recruits for 2017. Then someone asked if DW quit? He left the screen to make a phone call. Came back on for 30 seconds, phone rang and he stopped the periscope
Then he started the Periscope back up and said there was no proof to the Willis rumors.
Biggest thing he said imo is he thinks the UL banner is coming down. For the love of everything that is holy, please be true!

NCAA doesn't actually list BCS results or didn't last time I check. Essentially, there hasn't been an NCAA title in top tier football in many years.
Remember, Matt Jones virtually guaranteed Pitino would be gone before this season. He is either wildly misinformed, or he just says things to hold listeners.

So is it (finally) safe to say that over the years, Jones has really led fans to believe that he doesn't know as much as he's led people to believe? Can we safely say this?
I remember back when Cal. was at Memphis how Jones was calling him a cheater.

What if I were to tell you there is definite fire behind this smoke. I've heard the same thing from an assistant coach from another school that has said the kid is leaning to UK in a big way. Heard it last week but didn't post it.

Not everybody. There were many on this board who wanted him here. I remember some of the spirited discussions. I was also one who didn't call him a cheater. I honestly didn't follow what happened at either UMass or Memphis and never bothered to investigate it until he was hired. I simply had no opinion one way or the other.
I think the point is that most of what people post on this board as the "latest Matt Jones scoop" is simply a lot of opinion that is as valid as any random poster's info, with the exception that he does have some real connections so SOME of his info probably does have at least SOME validity.
Having said that, I read the stuff when it is posted here and assume that is mostly his opinion. My problem with his info is that he plays the "secret squirrel game" and I really don't trust anyone who does that.
When Jones says something they dislike, this board goes nuts. When Jones says something they wanna hear, he is the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. THEY being his cult followers.

I thought he was a cheater when he was at UMass and in his early days at Memphis. The Derrick Rose thing didn't help, but I was really in favor of bringing him in because I knew UK would make sure he didn't disgrace the program.
Then, once I took the time to actually look at the facts, I realized he wasn't what I thought he was.
I can fully understand why people outside of the UK circle think he's slimy, it takes an open mind and a little bit of research to fully understand what occurred in those two cases. It just sucks that those things happened.
But I know for a fact that almost every uk fan thought he was dirty at one time or another. 2 vacated seasons is tough to overlook. Just like 2 sex scandals is hard to overlook.
Call me greedy but, I want to see UL and UNCheat both get the punishment they deserve. Every time UK has been found to be afoul of the rules we have been hammered. I only want everyone to get what they deserve.The fact that the UNC cheating has been so systemic they need to be shut down or severely crippled.
Of course, the obvious question is: Why were UK fans SO excited to get him even before it was announced? I vividly recall the excitement on this board at that time. I also recall a few posters being upset and leaving.
Having said that, your point is valid that it is hard to overlook 2 vacated seasons and for message board posters to just assume he was a blatant cheater would be par for the course. But, if I am listening to someone on the radio discuss that coach publicly, I would expect that person to be well informed. Thus, for MJ to change his mind once he did some elementary research clearly indicates that he was negligent and irresponsible at that time.
