They got the touchdown call to minnesota correct. They missed our TD call in the same game. I know, I’m nitpicking.
Except for the fact that play should have been blown dead from start as Ray Charles could have seen their LT jump before ball was snapped!!

Thanks for the PC Notes!

I'm happy to hear Rhule is rethinking his punt return strategy. With our offensive struggles we need to at least try to better our starting field position.

Rhule was pretty hard on the defense mentioning twice during the PC biting on double moves and bagged on the corners once. However, he seemed to sugar coat the horrific offensive performance, HH's horrible game and offered up that the plays that were called were inches from being big gainers. I wonder how Coach White felt about that?

I got news for you coach. We like you better when you you don't make excuses about officiating and signal stealing and come close to throwing players and coaches under the bus. Not saying he did, but hope he isn't trending in that direction. Realize this place chews up coaches and spits them out unless you just shut out the noise, chill out, and do your thing.

seemed refreshingly honest to me. what should a coach do? make up excuses for refs. just call it as it shows on replay and move on. hh is still short in experience and in decent oline protection. will he make a big jump someday? i dont know. i do know josh allen didnt look very good most of the time during his jr and sr years. i would never have guessed he would turn out the way he has. hh never had crap for coaching during the frost regime. frost said he was going to have the backups practice throwing after am went down. wth were they doing?

Im ok with him ripping on the D. They had a let down. Everyone knows the Offense is terrible, he doesnt need to keep reminding us. The D has a reputation to live up to now, and they didnt. Their pass D is not great, and we also let the QB get loose for some big gains. As much as people want to rip on HH, Im more angry about our D in that game.

The D was not good against MSU. Period.

You should be more angry at not trying to make yardage on punt returns and put a stiff out there just to fair catch and wasn’t going to advance it..

They made more bigger plays and Nebraska didn’t..HH had 3 bad turnovers..

Yeah. The D was pretty bad. MSU QB's have looked like dogshit all year and then they did well against us. Tommi jesus had a bad game, but something was off with everyone. John Bullock was by far the worst and it cost us.

Where the defense is at compared to the offense is light years apart. Rhule knows what each unit can do. If the defense didn’t live up to their abilities, he’s shown that he will let them know. The defense has an identity, and didn’t live up to it.

The offense is a different story. Quite frankly, they suck, and everyone knows it. The defense can take the criticism and grow from it. The offense needs to find something to hang their hat on.

Special teams, he took the blame for that himself. He knows his team and what will motivate them.

I think Rhule is smart enough that he’s trying to press the right buttons. Not that he’s losing his edge.

Maryland although bad makes me nervous. They have some athletic receivers and a QB that can sling the ball. NU pass coverage hasn't been great. The front needs to home to the QB or they could.pick the defense apart

Josh Allen was always an accurate passer with a cannon. That is not HH.

This should concern everyone. Hopefully the coaches game plan for this. I think it's the difference in winning or losing.

MSU had courtesy of our defense:

295 total yards
63 rushing yards
11 1st downs
3/14 on 3rd down
55 total plays
7 punts

The difference in the game was 3 turnovers by the offense.

Blown TD call on benefited MSU.

HH missing wide open wr Bullock and instead throwing a pick was crushing.

Offense has to help the defense out.

Team loss. A couple of coverage busts by our defense cost us 2 TDs as well.

Did Josh Allen throw 4 or was it 5 INTs against the Huskers in Lincoln?
Better send that tape to Buffalo.

I hope you live another 30 years so we can both discuss HH prolific NFL career.

What round are you predicting HH to be drafted?

Allen was a 56% passer at Wyoming. threw 15 picks in his first season as a starter.

eagerly awaiting some non sequitur response where you infer I'm comparing our QB to him.

Sure they did.

Were you expecting Nebraska to shut out MSU?

You can't be -3 in the turnover battle and expect to win many games.
I actually was expecting us to shut them out because of how bad their QB's have been and their total lack of a run game. I agree with your other points as well. Just a flat out team loss that we just didn't look like we were all there.
