That is how I almost always do it...wink
The O-line had better be able to protect DR or else this game will not end up in the win column. Maryland's pass rush is for real, DR can't hold on to the ball to long looking for that third read. In addition if Rhule is going to tell me that this team can run the ball then he and Dana had better be able to prove it Sat if we are leading late. Can't shake the idea that we'll see a strip/sack by Maryland's D-line, final score MU 27, NU 24.
I went and checked the Maryland boards to see what they are saying about the game, where is what I found

On offense, MD has a lot of motion, misdirection, fancy stuff. The young QB throws sidearm and mostly outside and short. Mediocre pass and run game.
On D the only thing that stands out is a decent pass rush. Usually three down and at least one to two more also rushing. Nothing special about rush D or DBs.
Nothing special about STs. The kicker is accurate, maybe not a ton of range.
The crowd hasn’t been a factor.
Long story short, a good team would destroy Maryland. DONU however will allow a bunch of sacks. Johnson may have room for decent gains. Our pass D shouldn’t have problems. Neither should the rush D—but we’ll see about that. Skers manage to squeak out a close one that a good team would’ve dominated.

I am not sold on our defense despite the stats. No pass rush. Soft against the run. I also think our offensive line sucks. Maryland has a great pass rush. We are awful at pass blocking. We will see therefore another up and down offensive performance. I think Maryland will be the more consistent team. I think they will have far fewer negative plays on offense than we will. I also think they will hit more big plays on offense than we will.
Damn, I respect that assessment. Perhaps I took a drink or two too much of kool aid because I am normally much more pessimistic. I hope you're wrong but wouldn't be surprised if you are spot on.
Our pass rush looked good last week. Maybe we figured something out
This is how I'm feeling after watching they're game against Washington as well. Dana has to scheme a way to run the ball and neutralize their pass rush and blitzing. N cannot afford to get behind the sticks. Also Dylan needs to get rid of the ball if his first read is open and take some shots down field. I think the defense is getting better every week but the offense needs to start pressuring the defense and not reacting.
It appeared Nebraska disguised a Cover 2 and then pushed the Edge wider, brought the LB in and stunted the DLs depending on MSU's alignment and they were much more aggressive. They took a page from Michigan's schemes. Had not seen that until the Mich St. game.
Probably more to it than that but I liked it.
