| Currently NET # 100 Marquette record now- 11-12 overall / 5-5 road / 3-6 Quad 1 |
Yeah, go figure, UNC was supposed to be the 3rd best team yesterday in the ACC according to the NCAA's NET. But then lose at home to #100 Marquette. Longtime Providence writer Kevin McNamara said earlier this year that they've been underrating the BE in the pre-season for awhile now. But then the BE goes OOC and takes " P-5" teams out early in the year and the conference moves up. So that might hurt the BE rankings this year. It's a tough league, the Big East. It is not your Uncle's Big East from the 1980s but it is pretty good and just about any of the league teams can hang with any P5 conference teams
Please not this again, I have inside info about Dyson's SR year and there was a reason JC had enough of him towards the end of it and finally benched him...Think 2009-2010 UConn. Jerome Dyson was widely blamed for the chemistry issues on that team, yet when Dyson was starting the prior year with veteran PG AJ Price in the backcourt, UConn was a very clear #1 in the country until Dyson got injured.
Alot of people knew what was coming, just not you.Something may have happened his senior year but the point is the chemistry was good before it was bad and these things are hard to put a finger on. Prior to 2009-10 season nobody saw what was coming coming. That's kind of the point here.
Yeah for the better...Inside info aside, the 2008-09 team with Dyson was number 1 in the country and his injury changed the team.
