i love it when non uk fans need to seek out OUR board to feel better about themselves and their lesser program. just highlights we are what they wish they were

I'd love that class. I'd rather have Adebayo than Bolden, but I definitely would take Bolden and smile.
Good chance Kentucky lands him. Down to Kentucky/Duke from what I heard. Parents want him to go to Duke but he wants Kentucky... maybe this is a sign bolden won out.
This is huge!! You don't take an official visit & then come back again on your own dollar unless you're serious about that school.
Fox, Gabriel, Killeya-Jones, and Bolden would be a nice Fall class.
Then wait and see on Monk. With those guys locked up, Cal puts all his effort in on landing Monk.

This is great news. You don't come back for a 2nd visit and pay out of your own money if you weren't interested into really going to that school. After hearing about this, i think we now land the kid. If we can get him and Fox, our frontcourt recruiting will be over before spring. We can focus all of our attention on Monk and if we lose out on him, hopefully a few other of these guards will wait it out and decide on Kentucky in the spring.
We would be alright with just Fox, Mulder, Matthews, and a Senior Hawkins, but another stud guard would be great. Monk preferably, then Alkins, then Simmons, IMHO.
According to kubballfan23 Bolden just has to convince his folks that UK is where he needs to be.

Yep, and a senior Hawkins is going to see some minutes in that rotation. With Fox, Hawkins, and Matthews, Cal will have the type of defensive perimeter options that can shut down the best of opponents.
A very intriguing group if it all comes together. I think that entire starting lineup would be in a great position to be OAD as well.
Fox is probably the guy, although he said he wants to decide around the time of his birthday, which is in December (the 20th).
Still, it would be great if Cal locked up Fox and Bolden. Then, in the spring, he could focus on two or three guys instead of 8 or 9 like last spring/summer when he was busily trying to cover ground with Newman, Zimmerman, Murray, Mulder, Humphries, Diallo, Brown, Ingram, and Swanigan.
That worked out quite well, though.
I agree, though, wrap up Fox and Bolden to go with Gabriel and Killeya-Jones and then wait on Monk.
I think we will only sign five with Humphries, Mulder, Matthews, and Wynyard likely back.
I sure hope he is right. With his latest information being correct, i am not going to doubt this dude. I believe him 100%. I know Bolden has been injured a lot in the AAU circuit and some say doesn't give his all on the court, but if Cal wants him, so do i. It seems like when it comes down to family wanting someone else and the kid wanting us, the family always wins out. Let's hope for once that changes. If Duke and Kentucky are recruiting you, you have the talent. Since Duke will probably land Giles, let's get this kid and keep him away from Duke's roster.
I hope he is right as well, though in the same post he said Monk likely to Arkansas. So I kind of hope he is wrong, or at least only half right and we get Bolden and Monk.
The thing is the conversation that took place about Monk and Bolden was less than a minute and i didn't get any more info from the person then them thinking Monk was to Arkansas and then the Bolden parent deal. So don't go all in on the info that Monk is going to arkansas. Like some of you have speculated, he may be saying that as a way to not get crucified by the whole state of Arkansas. Time will tell.. as for Bolden I think it's very very positive sign that he's coming back.
