We've missed that boat. His next stop will be a P5 head coach at a place like VanderbiltNext stop, HC at TU.
He has been an offensive coordinator at Howard and William & Mary.I don’t see a P5 hiring a position coach as their HC. Next logical step would be a coordinator position at a P5 and then a HC gig. The question is would TU hire a guy who has never been a D1 coordinator ?
He's going to thrive under Sarkisian. The WRs are going to thrive under Brennan.Correct. Why I said D1. I can’t recall a single P5 HC hire who w hadn’t been a D1 coordinator or NFL coach. Maybe a couple of elite high school head coaches. Point is they are few and far between. Marion at this point in his career doesn’t jump out as one of those guys imo. If TU wants him in a year or two I’m betting he will be available.
Fine….give me a list of FCS coordinators who were named P5 HC without first being a coordinator for a FBS school.William and Mary and Howard are both D1 schools. FCS ball is very competitive and many teams are just as good or better than many G5 teams. That was very disrespectful and dismissive.
I think there was a too 20 FCS school that whipped out rear to start the season. Just sayin’William and Mary and Howard are both D1 schools. FCS ball is very competitive and many teams are just as good or better than many G5 teams. That was very disrespectful and dismissive.
We’re still trying to forget that one. - Rick DicksonI think there was a too 20 FCS school that whipped out rear to start the season. Just sayin’
